Mechanical Enterprises, Inc. provided mechanical engineering services (including plumbing, HVAC, and fire protection systems) for the design of the single-story clinic building in Lanai City.  The new facility is approximately 6,000 sf and consists of medical offices, dental offices, exam rooms, etc.

The clinic building was designed to achieve LEED Certification with implementation of some sustainable practices during construction and the potential to achieve a LEED Gold rating utilizing aggressive practices during construction.  The project implemented the experience of LEED accredited professionals to include sustainable design strategies related to water efficiency, optimized energy performance, outdoor air delivery monitoring, and design and controllability of thermal comfort systems.
