Halloween, or All Hallows Eve, or All Saints Day. However you call it, the tradition and history of the day may have faded. In America, Halloween was first celebrated as "play parties" to celebrate the harvest. In the mid 19th century Autumn festivities were common, unlike Halloween itself.
