The first national observance of Memorial Day occurred on May 30, 1868. It is best known as Decoration Day, the holiday was proclaimed to honor the Union soldiers who had died in the Civil war.
In remembrance of those who have given the ultimate sacrifice, our offices will be closed on Monday, May 29, 2023. Our offices will reopen on Tuesday, May 30, 2023.
