Mechanical engineering design for a new 2-story recreation facility.  The mechanical systems consisted of 2 humidity control units for the gymnasium and 3 air handlers with wrap around heat pipe built into air handlers for dehumidification.  The existing chiller plant at the existing Campus Center was retrofitted to replace two 150-ton screw chillers with 2 new 340-ton Smardt chillers with Turboccor compressors.  Two new stainless cooling towers were also provided.  Scope also included design for all the plumbing fixtures and a fire sprinkler system throughout the facility.
